A Cool Contrast Between Diamonds and a Royal Blue Dial

First introduced in 1975, the "Laureato" has become a representative model for Girard-Perregaux, now boasting a full collection ranging from ladies' models to complicated timepieces. For this limited edition, the iconic octagonal bezel is paired with a royal blue gradient dial, creating a fresh aesthetic.

The octagonal bezel is set with 56 diamonds. They create a striking contrast with the cool blue dial, adorned with a "Clous de Paris" guilloché pattern. The face is surrounded by a round case, flowing seamlessly into the bracelet for an elegant silhouette.

In homage to the history of the Laureato, where the quartz movement developed by Girard-Perregaux in the early 1970s became the industry standard, this limited edition is powered not by a mechanical movement, but by quartz. The in-house quartz movement, beautifully decorated with Côtes de Genève and engravings on the battery cover, is visible to the wearer through the sapphire crystal case back.
