A Special Timepiece Pioneering New Horizons in Watchmaking

The "Première Camélia Collection Squelette," created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Chanel's Première Collection, was awarded the Ladies' Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. This marks the fourth time Chanel has received an award at this prestigious event.

In 2017, Chanel unveiled the "Première Camélia Collection Squelette" to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Première Collection. The icon of this unparalleled timepiece features a movement shaped like the camellia flower, a bloom Gabrielle Chanel cherished throughout her life. The "CHANEL Caliber 2. Camélia Collection Squelette," Chanel's second in-house movement, was designed at the Creation Studio on Place Vendôme and developed and assembled in its Swiss workshops. With all its components arranged in a three-dimensional form, the movement embodies the exquisite beauty of a blossoming flower.

The watches nominated for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, including the award-winning "Première Camélia Collection Squelette," will be exhibited on a world tour visiting Seoul, Rome, Geneva, and Dubai.
