Dial Features the Same Leather as the Strap

The collaboration between Hublot and Berluti, first announced at Baselworld in March 2016, has garnered significant attention. The "Classic Fusion Berluti Scritto Blue," released as a Japan-exclusive item, is a model distinguished by its deep, captivating shade of blue.

Both the dial and strap are crafted from Venezia leather, adorned with the signature Scritto motif, and produced using the same meticulous process as Berluti's renowned shoes. This Scritto design was inspired by 18th-century manuscripts by Olga Berluti, the fourth-generation head of the maison who elevated it to an innovative status, and it now symbolizes the essence of Berluti.

However, incorporating leather into the dial is a task that demands the utmost precision. It involves a fusion of artisanal skills in both dial and strap production, encompassing pattern creation, cutting, assembly of leather pieces, polishing, and neutralization of the leather's natural components.

The "Classic Fusion Berluti Scritto Blue," presented in a case of the same deep blue Venezia leather as the watch, is accompanied by leather care products. It was made available for pre-order starting November 3rd (Friday, holiday) at Hublot boutiques in Ginza, Osaka, and Kyoto, with a limited production run of 100 pieces.
