Since its founding in 1881, SEIKO has introduced numerous innovative watches to the world. Its latest creations, the "SEIKO PROSPEX Fieldmaster LOWERCASE Produce Models," will be released from late September to late October 2017, comprising a total of 8 models, including limited editions.

These watches are supervised by Yoshikage Kajiwara of "LOWERCASE," a consultancy for numerous renowned brands. Kajiwara is known as a pioneer of cross-industry collaborations, having previously served as Creative Director at BEAMS. In this model, his signature essence of fusing "history × toughness" is fully realized.

In addition to the external protector structure that shields the movement from impact, they are equipped with tough specifications such as 20-bar water resistance and a crown positioned at the 4 o'clock position to avoid hindering wrist movement. Solar charging eliminates concerns about battery life. A pull-through strap complements the compact and lightweight case, creating a casual impression suitable for everyday wear.

Also noteworthy are the limited collaboration models with select shops such as "FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB," "BEAMS," "UNITED ARROWS," and "JOURNAL STANDARD." Each shop's unique worldview and the individual serial numbers engraved on the case back make these truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

The "FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB" model is the only double-name model, featuring the brand name at the 6 o'clock position on the dial, offering a modern interpretation of classic sports watch details. The "BEAMS" model appeals with its antique silver bezel and orange second hand, pursuing a vintage aesthetic. The "UNITED ARROWS" model is finished to complement contemporary styling, including business suits. The "JOURNAL STANDARD" model features Arabic numeral indexes with vintage-style LumiBrite (luminescent paint) that leave a lasting impression.
