Panerai has released a new watch with a metal bracelet, the "Luminor Marina 1950 Three Days Automatic Acciaio." This timepiece is accented by links shaped like its iconic crown protector.

The Crown Protector Meets the Metal Bracelet

The new "Luminor Marina 1950 Three Days Automatic Acciaio," a standout piece from Panerai, is now available with a metal bracelet for the first time.

This metal bracelet, much like the first metal bracelet introduced by Panerai in 1999, features links shaped like the crown protector. Each individual link is designed to fit the wrist without the use of screws. The design is both sporty and sophisticated, with alternating polished and satin-finished parts.

The case, like the "Luminor 1950," is made of AISI stainless steel, but it is lighter than the original type. Equipped with the automatic Caliber P.9010, the case is lighter and thinner, with a polished bezel and satin-finished links creating a striking contrast. The movement can also be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

The movement is entirely manufactured at Panerai's manufacture in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It features a bi-directional rotor and, as the name suggests, a 3-day power reserve.

It also incorporates a device that stops the balance wheel when the crown is pulled out, allowing for precise second synchronization with a time signal. Furthermore, the watch can be accurately advanced or set back by one-hour increments,

enabling smart adjustments when traveling across time zones.

The dial is a stylish black. Large, luminous beige markers, iconic to Panerai, and a blue hand on the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock add distinctive touches.

The dial also utilizes Panerai's signature sandwich structure, ensuring excellent legibility underwater and in darkness. With water resistance ratings of 10 bar for the 42mm case and 30 bar for the 44mm, it appears ready for tough use in any situation.

Additionally, a push on the button under the lugs with a special tool allows for strap changes. This mechanism is an original Panerai patent, and the metal bracelet is also sold separately. It can be fitted to "Luminor 1950" cases equipped with the P.9010 caliber.
