An Annual Rare "Festival of Time" in Ginza, Tokyo

The "Nicolas G. Hayek Center BASEL New Timepieces Exhibition 2017" is an annual, rare "Festival of Time" that marks the first public showing in Japan of new timepieces from the world's largest watch and jewelry fair, "Baselworld 2017," held in Basel, Switzerland in March 2017. The exhibition will feature new watches from Breguet, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Omega, and Longines, all of which have boutiques in the center. Swatch will also present new items from its Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

The Nicolas G. Hayek Center opened in May 2007 as Japan's first "landmark of time," integrating watch brand boutiques, customer service, and offices. This year marks its 10th anniversary.

During the exhibition, the 1st-floor "Avenue du Temps" will be adorned with a collage of "Baselworld 2017" scenes from Switzerland and floral arrangements.
