The New Longines Master Collection Unveiled at Royal Ascot
Longines served as the Official Partner, Official Time Partner, and Official Watch at the prestigious equestrian event, Royal Ascot, held from June 16th to 20th, 2026.

Rooted in a tradition of equestrianism dating back to the 19th century, Longines has cultivated a close relationship with Ascot Racecourse since 2007. This bond is forged through shared values of elegance, tradition, and performance, alongside a commitment to excellence in equestrian sports.
It was here that the new Longines Master Collection, poised to lead Longines into the future, was showcased.
Since its debut in 2005, the collection has inherited Longines' heritage, blending exceptional mechanical expertise with timeless style. This iteration sees a comprehensive redesign of this classic dress watch, with over two decades of history, re-examining every element from the dial and hands to the bezel and bracelet. It has evolved into a timepiece that embodies contemporary elegance.

The new models are equipped with state-of-the-art automatic movements and offer a diverse range of variations. Featuring elegant blue Arabic numerals and newly designed cases and bracelets, the composition highlights the beauty inherent in every detail.
The core of the design is the refined barleycorn pattern. This intricate motif lends depth and a rich character to the watch, which shifts with the play of light. The 39mm and 41mm models feature this pattern across the entire dial in silver or blue tones, complemented by applied Arabic numeral hour markers for enhanced legibility. Newly designed hands in blued steel or rhodium color enhance the watch's poised aesthetic.

The 30mm and 34mm models showcase the silver barleycorn pattern across the full dial or around the periphery. Four variations, paired with white mother-of-pearl dials, are adorned with 11 Top Wesselton diamonds (totaling 0.047 carats). Luxurious bi-material options are also available.
Additionally, the 41mm models include variations with Eastern Arabic numerals, offering a globally inspired impression. A two-week pre-sale is scheduled to begin on August 5th at the Watch Gallery on the 6th floor of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store in Japan.
The movements are Longines' exclusive automatic calibers. The 30mm models are powered by Caliber L592.5, while the 34mm, 39mm, and 41mm models feature Caliber L888.5. Both are equipped with silicon balance springs, ensuring superior antimagnetic properties, accuracy, and reliability.

The rotors are rhodium-colored for stainless steel models and gold-colored for bi-material versions, visible through the sapphire crystal see-through case back.
The bracelets are newly designed stainless steel with shorter links and a folding clasp featuring micro-adjustment. Alternatively, options include leather straps in blue, bordeaux, or anthracite.

For Longines, with its 190-year history, the Master Collection represents the pinnacle of the classic dress watch. Therefore, to carry it into the next era, subtle refinements rather than drastic changes were called for. Each redesigned detail speaks not loudly, but updates the watch's presence with quiet confidence.
