Three Models Inspired by Yaezakura, Somei Yoshino, and Yuki-zakura

SEIKO is launching the "SAKURA Blooming 2017 Limited Edition" collection, inspired by cherry blossoms, for its "SEIKO LUKIA" and "SEIKO EXCELINE" lines. The collection features one solar-powered radio-controlled watch and one mechanical watch from "SEIKO LUKIA," and one solar-powered radio-controlled watch with world time function from "SEIKO EXCELINE," totaling three models.

The "SEIKO LUKIA" solar-powered radio-controlled watch is designed to evoke the beautiful overlapping of petals, set with two pink sapphires and four diamonds to enhance its special feel. The strap is also colored pink, and its crocodile texture complements the elegant and vibrant image of Yaezakura.

The mechanical watch, on the other hand, is inspired by the subtly pink-tinged Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, featuring a dial of delicately colored mother-of-pearl. The soft luster of the shell beautifully expresses the gentle hue of the blossoms. A portion of the dial and the case back are see-through, allowing a view of the intricate movement within.

The pearl pink crocodile strap also subtly accentuates the gentle atmosphere of the Somei Yoshino.


The "SEIKO EXCELINE" is inspired by "Yuki-zakura" (snow cherry blossoms). The scene of snow falling out of season during cherry blossom time is fantastical and beautiful. Inspired by cherry blossoms blooming in this snowy landscape, the white dial is set with eleven pink sapphires. The strap is made of pearl pink crocodile, creating a soft, spring-like ambiance.

The crown is adorned with diamonds and features a delicate floral shape. This design, with its meticulous attention to detail, allows one to enjoy the cherry blossom motif from every angle.

All three models share a subtle cherry blossom pattern printed on the case back. The limited edition box also features a cherry blossom design, making them perfect for gifts.
