A Dial That Runs Sideways

Tiffany, America's leading premier jeweler and watchmaker, is releasing a new watch from the "Tiffany East West" collection, which embodies 169 years of watchmaking craftsmanship and legendary style.

The "Tiffany East West" is renowned for its distinctive horizontal dial, a creative and bold design that challenges the conventions of watchmaking. The new watch is based on the rectangular form of Tiffany travel clocks from the 1940s, which served as the inspiration for the collection. This has led to a slightly larger watch case (46.5x27.5mm) than previous models, housing an automatic mechanical movement produced in Switzerland, the pinnacle of watch manufacturing.

The design is available in three variations: a stainless steel case with an alligator strap (in blue or black), and an 18K rose gold case with a brown alligator strap. The front and case back of the new watch are all crafted from sapphire crystal. The "Tiffany East West" Automatic, with its design that redefines watchmaking conventions, will be available from June 2016.
