A Special Limited Edition to Commemorate BEAMS' 40th Anniversary

A special model from EDOX's popular "Chronoffshore 1" collection has been completed, supervised by Tatsuya Nakamura, BEAMS Creative Director, to celebrate BEAMS' 40th anniversary. The case side is engraved with the BEAMS 40th anniversary logo, and the stylish blue carbon and navy rubber create a fashionable model.

Founded in 1884, the "Chronoffshore 1" collection from Swiss independent watch brand EDOX, boasting over a century of history, is an authentic diver's watch equipped with a Swiss automatic movement. It features high precision, high water resistance, and shock resistance, and is a tough, highly functional timepiece that skillfully employs high-tech materials such as ceramic, stainless steel, and carbon, also used in powerboats, dubbed the "F1 of the Seas."

The "Chronoffshore 1 Automatic BEAMS Limited" model is an unprecedented Chronoffshore 1, reflecting the aesthetic sense and cutting-edge trend analysis that Mr. Nakamura has cultivated as Creative Director at BEAMS.

Mr. Nakamura's particular focus was on the overall color scheme of the watch, including the exquisite navy color that suits both ON and OFF styles. The carbon dial and rubber strap are matched in the same color, with a vivid blue used for the "1" index, a characteristic of the Chronoffshore 1.

This special timepiece, featuring an engraving on the case side celebrating BEAMS' 40th anniversary, will be released in a limited edition of 30 pieces starting March 15th (Tuesday) at "BEAMS HOUSE Marunouchi" and "ZOZOTOWN (BEAMS MEN)," leading specialty stores in Japan.
