The World the Maison Has Envisioned Through Jewelry Making is Visualized for the First Time

Cartier was born in 1847 from the hands of jeweler Louis-François Cartier. Later, it was passed down to his grandsons Louis, Jacques, and Pierre, who established the foundations of Maison Cartier by creating original jewelry for clients around the world. Now, the maison's worldview, envisioned through years of jewelry making, has been brought to life on screen for the first time.

The film's heroine is a jeweled panther, inspired by Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier's most talented high jewelry director and Louis's right-hand woman. Known as 'La Panthère' (The Panther Lady) for her exquisite aesthetic sense, sharp beauty, and exceptional elegance that captivated Parisian society, the panther has been Cartier's ultimate emblem since the 1930s.

In the film, a jeweled panther from a shop window encounters Pierre Cartier during his travels in Russia, then gracefully leaps through the circle of Cartier's new icon, the 'LOVE' collection. The maison, also known for its exotic jewelry creations, depicts encounters with a dragon symbolizing China and an elephant from India. The panther then boards the '14-bis' biplane, piloted by Santos-Dumont—the inspiration for the Santos watch, designed so he could check the time while flying—and visits the room of supermodel Shalom Harlow, adorned in dazzling jewelry.

The visuals, a masterful blend of real panthers and 3D animation, were created by Bruno Aveillan, a world-renowned commercial film director. The grand musical score, composed to match Cartier's image, is also a highlight.

A magnificent scroll painting unfolds, journeying with the panther. Immerse yourself in the splendid world of Cartier, transcending time and space.
