Accurate Time Acquisition with CASIO's Proprietary Time Correction System

The GPS HYBRID WAVE CEPTOR equipped in OCEANUS is a hybrid system that receives standard radio waves when GPS radio waves are difficult to receive, and GPS radio waves in areas without standard radio wave infrastructure. This allows for stable and accurate time display anywhere in the world.

The main dial displays the time of the current location (home time), and the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position displays the time of major world cities (world time). It adopts a dual dial world time function with a 12-hour format that simultaneously displays the time of two cities, allowing for intuitive time confirmation and high practicality.

Furthermore, this new model employs a newly developed dual-coil motor with high torque and fast rotation speed. The high-speed drive of the motor enables rapid hand movement, pursuing faster world time display. By long-pressing the button at the 2 o'clock position, the home time and local time can be quickly swapped. Additionally, by varying the speed of the hand movement, a unique needle motion is achieved, adding the value of "the joy of operating a watch."



In terms of design, meticulous attention has been paid to blue, OCEANUS's brand color. The premium, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal bezel features newly developed blue vapor deposition inspired by the Earth and a black color scheme inspired by space. The indices and sub-dials utilize sputtering, a thin-film coloring technique, with three different shades of blue to create OCEANUS's three-dimensional worldview. The needle shafts are adorned with recrystallized blue sapphire, expressing OCEANUS's unique and beautiful blue radiance.

The indices feature a simple, easy-to-read three-dimensional design, enhancing visibility while achieving a high-quality finish. Furthermore, the crystal is dual-curved sapphire crystal with a 99% transparency, boasting a double-sided anti-reflective coating. Every detail, from the Zaratsu polishing that requires skilled craftsmanship to the case and band surface hardening with DLC and titanium carbide treatment, has been finished to a premium standard.
