A Limited Edition Collection Paying Homage to the Original SEIKO Brightz Designs

From SEIKO Brightz, a new-generation watch brand for globally-minded business professionals, five limited-edition models celebrating its 20th anniversary will be released sequentially starting February 8, 2020 (Saturday) and May 15, 2020 (Friday).

Inspired by the First SEIKO Brightz Chronograph

SEIKO Brightz was born in 2000, a brand aimed at businessmen during a time of increasing global ambition. Its theme is "reliable fundamental performance and comfortable wearability as a wristwatch, achieved through SEIKO's cutting-edge technology." Now, in its 20th anniversary year, five limited-edition models inspired by the original designs have been announced.
Common to this 20th-anniversary collection is the revival of the "B" mark, the brand logo from the early SEIKO Brightz models, on the second hand and crown (on the chronographs "SAGA295" and "SAGA297," the stopwatch second hand is revived). Similarly, the three-dimensional Arabic numeral indices, inspired by early models, ensure high legibility thanks to a super clear coating applied to both sides of the glass, suppressing reflections by over 99 percent.
All models utilize lightweight and corrosion-resistant titanium for the case material. The silver models feature SEIKO's proprietary surface-processing technology, DiaShield, while the black models are treated with a black hard coating, ensuring resistance to scratches. The bezel displays city codes in full spelling, allowing for intuitive button operation to easily check the time.
Furthermore, all models come with a special 20th-anniversary box, and the case back is engraved with "Limited Edition" and the serial number as proof of the limited model. The chronograph models also include an interchangeable leather strap, allowing for adjustments to suit different scenes and seasonal attire.
