New Variations on the Clé de Cartier

Unveiled at SIHH 2015 and launched in April, the "Clé de Cartier" collection has quickly garnered acclaim for its distinctive oval case and square crown, reminiscent of a key. Now, stylish two-tone models have joined the "Clé de Cartier" lineup.

Subtle Luxury in Steel and Gold

The "Clé de Cartier," presented at SIHH 2015 and well-received since its April debut, marks its place as an iconic collection, following in the footsteps of the square "Santos," the rectangular "Tank," and the round "Ballon Bleu de Cartier."

The model's name, "Clé," meaning "key" in French, is inspired by its square crown set with a blue cabochon. The process of pulling out the crown to adjust the time or wind the watch, and then returning it, evokes the operation of antique key-wound clocks.

Furthermore, the three-dimensional sculpted oval case, with its flowing curves, brings to mind architectural forms. It is powered by a highly precise in-house movement.

The new models, introduced this September, feature a two-tone combination that bridges the gap between the all-gold versions released in the spring. Based on cool stainless steel, the center links of the bracelet and the symbolic crown are crafted from gold. The exquisite luster of pink gold is strategically placed, lending a restrained yet luxurious ambiance.

The case is available in three sizes: 31mm for ladies, a versatile 35mm suitable for all genders, and a contemporary, elegant 40mm.

With the introduction of these versatile variations, suitable for any gender or occasion, the world of the simple and contemporary "Clé de Cartier" has undoubtedly expanded.
