Jaeger-LeCoultre: New Releases Gather at Hankyu Umeda Main Store

Titled "Open a whole new world," a Jaeger-LeCoultre fair will be held at Coto Coto Stage 11 on the 1st floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store from September 23rd (Wednesday, holiday) to 29th (Tuesday).

Since its establishment in 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been one of the few manufactures (integrated workshops) to handle all stages of watchmaking in-house. The highlight of this fair is the new release from what can be called the icon of this esteemed brand.

In the 1930s, in response to a request from British polo players stationed in India to develop a wristwatch that would not break its crystal during play, Jaeger-LeCoultre created the "Reverso," a rectangular watch with a case that could be flipped to protect the crystal. Since then, this watch, imbued with an Art Deco spirit, has remained a symbol of Jaeger-LeCoultre and continues to be loved by many fans.

At this fair, the 2015 new models "Reverso Classic Small Duetto" and "Reverso Classic Medium Duetto" from the "Reverso" collection will make their debut in the Kansai region, and special pre-orders will be accepted during the fair period.

In addition to the "Reverso," the fair will also feature a rich selection of the "Rendez-Vous" collection, a popular ladies' mechanical model since its debut in 2012, and the "Master" collection, known for its ultra-thin mechanical models that rank among the world's finest. These will be displayed at the venue.
