A beautiful form evoking the sparkle of white snow
The Aero Bang Garmisch was created to celebrate HUBLOT's role as Official Timekeeper for the Alpine World Ski Championships. Inspired by the snowy mountains of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the host location, the model features a snow-white base with a satin-finished steel case to represent the chill of ice. Scheduled for release this spring, it is a truly exclusive item, with only 250 pieces produced worldwide.
Furthermore, HUBLOT is the first luxury brand to partner with competitive skiing. The brand announced that star skier Maria Riesch, who boasts the No. 1 ranking in women's alpine skiing, has been appointed as an ambassador.
Additionally, with ambassadors such as Bode Miller, the American alpine skier who won three medals at the Vancouver Olympics, and Dario Cologna, the Swiss cross-country skier and gold medalist at the same Olympics, we anticipate seeing what new expressions HUBLOT will reveal in their future endeavors.
Moreover, HUBLOT has also signed a long-term contract as the timekeeper for the Nordic World Ski Championships and has been appointed the Official Watchmaker for the "Swiss Ski House 2011," a gathering place for athletes and spectators.
In commemoration, a 4-meter-high HUBLOT tower clock has been installed to welcome visitors, and HUBLOT logos and clocks are likely to be visible everywhere, including on screens at the start gates.
