Bulgari is launching a collection inspired by nine cities: Rome, Tokyo, Dubai, Paris, London, Ibiza, Milan, Mexico City, and New York, as the "Bulgari Bulgari Cities Limited Model 2020." Two of these models, inspired by Rome and Tokyo, are scheduled to be available in Japan.

The "Bulgari Bulgari" watch debuted in 1977, stemming from the "Bulgari Roma" watch Bulgari created for its clients in 1975. It was deeply rooted in Roman history, with its circular case featuring columns found in ancient Roman monuments, and a bezel inspired by Roman Empire coins, telling a story of Italian architecture and art.

Over the years, this watch has undergone gradual refinements, maintaining its essential aesthetic sensibility while evolving with a sharply curved body and enhanced elegance. In 2020, the "Bulgari Bulgari Cities Limited Model 2020" was released, drawing inspiration from nine of the world's most dynamic cities: Rome, Tokyo, Dubai, Paris, London, Ibiza, Milan, Mexico City, and New York. In Japan, two models inspired by Rome and Tokyo will be offered.

Designed for a modern, urban lifestyle, this new watch features a 41mm stainless steel case with black DLC coating, housing the BVL 191 automatic caliber, a mechanical manufacture movement. It comes with interchangeable brown calf leather and black rubber straps, offering freedom to adapt to styles transitioning from weekdays to weekends. A black grind leather pouch, perfect for travel, is also included. It's a watch that combines dynamic, surprisingly contemporary elegance with versatility.

Each watch also comes with an art print created by young artists, inspired by the city. The illustration accompanying the "Bulgari Bulgari Cities Limited Model ROMA" is by Iris Hatzfeld, who, inspired by Rome, masterfully depicted the glow of gold and exquisite textures with rich pencil lines. The illustration for the "Bulgari Bulgari Cities Limited Model TOKYO," which captures Tokyo's traditional elements with a fresh, futuristic sensibility through depictions of cranes and koi, is by digital artist Funesk. This model is scheduled for an exclusive preview release from Wednesday, July 15th to Tuesday, July 21st, 2020, at Isetan Stage.
