Panerai has collaborated with the prestigious Italian sailing team Luna Rossa, releasing the "Luminor Luna Rossa Regatta 47mm."

Features an in-house automatic movement developed for sailing competitions

Introducing the new "Panerai Luminor Luna Rossa Regatta 47mm," a testament to the partnership between Panerai and the Italian sailing team Luna Rossa, which Panerai supports.

The design strictly adheres to Luna Rossa's color codes. At Panerai's Laboratorio di Idee (Ideas Laboratory), materials such as the latest composite materials and metals used in yachts participating in the America's Cup, the pinnacle of sailing, were selected and tested for properties like lightness, durability, scratch resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Specifically, it incorporates materials such as carbon fiber bonded and reinforced with Carbotech polymer, and high-tech ceramics formed from a composite of solidified zirconia powder and titanium.

The movement is an in-house automatic caliber specially developed for sailing competitions. It includes a flyback chronograph function in addition to a countdown timer for race starts.

The strap is a black calfskin with white stitching, known as "Ponte Vecchio."
