AUGUSTE REYMOND

A long-established brand that produced the manual-winding mechanical movement "Unitas"

Auguste Reymond, a venerable watch brand founded in 1898, is also known for producing the masterpiece manual-winding mechanical movement, "Unitas." This year, Auguste Reymond is focusing on its "Cotton Club" collection, inspired by jazz.

A more modern, orthodox Chronograph

The "Cotton Club" features a very classical case design. The bezel is stepped, and the crown is a large onion shape, reminiscent of the transition period from pocket watches to wristwatches. The lugs are also sculpted with a three-dimensional effect, retaining the charm of watches from a bygone era.

A chronograph based on the Caliber 7750 was already introduced for the "Cotton Club" in 2014. Following that, variations of the dial have now been added. While maintaining the unique design of the "Cotton Club," a combination of a black dial with Arabic numerals has been introduced.

Classic yet bold color palette

Introduced in 2015 as a completely new series, this is the "Cotton Club Moon Phase." It features a moon phase indicator at 6 o'clock, along with day and month displays at 12 o'clock, and a triple calendar with a central hand for the date.

Several variations in color and design are available, but the Cotton Club Moon Phase is a particularly striking model. Parts of the stepped bezel, the crown, the hands, the indices, and the ornament surrounding the moon phase are finished in gold. The contrast between the classical style and the unique colors is visually appealing, making for a highly original timepiece.

Auguste Reymond's sole sports model

Within the Auguste Reymond lineup, the "Magellan" collection stands out as the brand's only foray into sporty aesthetics. Its case is crafted from robust titanium and features a crown guard, giving it the distinct form of a sports watch.

A ring secured by screws on the rotating bezel enhances the mechanical feel. The dial is adorned with delicate guilloché engraving, and the date display is framed for improved legibility. The adoption of baton hands and an all-index dial further contributes to the overall impression of meticulous craftsmanship.
