Over the 10 years since its inception,"Class One"numerous limited models have been released in a variety of colors. This "Chrono Offshore 1" limited edition boasts a strikingly vibrant color scheme. The bright white dial and rubber strap, a stark contrast to the regular black model, are paired with a vivid blue ceramic bezel, reminiscent of tropical seas and skies.

The case features a pink gold color achieved through PVD processing. The 1 o'clock index is a large, gold applied index, making the model name stand out elegantly on the dial. At the 12 o'clock position, a big date display adds to the special feel.

Although the series was born for powerboats, this model adopts colors that also suit luxury liners and cruisers. Its characteristically robust size and functionality remain unchanged. This is a special limited edition model befitting a milestone anniversary.

Series Name Changed from "Class One" to "Chrono Offshore 1"

The "Class One" series, which has embodied the world of powerboat racing at speeds of up to 275 km/h, is now named "Chrono Offshore 1." While there have been some design modifications, it remains EDOX's flagship line.

This new release impresses with its all-white color scheme. The dial, rubber strap, and bezel are unified in white, beautifully complementing the gleam of the stainless steel case. Of course, its robust construction remains unchanged, and the bezel is made of highly durable and scratch-resistant ceramic.

The watch is powered by the reliable Cal. 7750 movement. Maintaining its signature robustness while offering a subtle elegance, this model is ideal for those seeking understated sophistication in a timepiece.

Skeleton Model Honoring the Founder

The "C.R-F." in this model's name stands for founder Christian Rüfli-Flury. In 1883, he presented his wife with a self-made watch for her birthday. Praised for his watchmaking skills by his wife, he was inspired to establish his own workshop.

Over 130 years later, that workshop has evolved into the present-day EDOX company. This limited edition model pays tribute to its founder. What is remarkable about this watch is its skeletonized automatic chronograph movement. Automatic chronographs typically feature numerous gears, levers, and springs, making it challenging to apply etching to the mainplate and bridges.

However, this watch tackles that difficulty, based on the ETA 2894 S2L. The chronograph's start/stop mechanism and the automatic winding system can be admired through the case back, while the chronograph hands' movement is visible from the dial side. It is a fitting tribute to a founder who was a master watchmaker.
