Since its inception, SEIKO has been a watch brand that Japan proudly presents to the world, consistently pursuing precision and practicality with integrity. With over a century of history, the company has continued its watchmaking endeavors by developing and manufacturing everything from the hairspring material to the single screw securing the main plate. As a 'real manufacture' that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with venerable Swiss watch brands, SEIKO captivates watch enthusiasts. While its only truly complex timepiece is the 'Spring Drive Sonnerie,' the brand offers numerous products showcasing its unique technologies, ranging from traditional mechanical watches to quartz and the hybrid Spring Drive mechanism. Swiss and other global watch manufacturers alike pay deep respect to SEIKO's technological prowess and remain keenly attentive to its developments.

This year marks a significant milestone for SEIKO. The Grand Seiko, the brand's 'face' and an exemplary standard watch embodying the philosophy of simple, honest pursuit of precision and practicality, celebrates its 50th anniversary.
To commemorate this occasion, three limited edition anniversary models, each utilizing one of SEIKO's three core movements—mechanical, quartz, and Spring Drive—were unveiled at Baselworld.

The SEIKO Brightz Ananta, a globally oriented model featuring a sharp, refined form inspired by Japanese swords and integrating SEIKO's unique movement technology, now includes its first model with a moon phase complication.

Furthermore, the SEIKO Galante collection, aimed at playful, sophisticated men, introduces a limited edition model inspired by the great Japanese anime hero, Astro Boy.

Additionally, with commemorative models for the 40th anniversary of quartz watches and a prototype digital watch utilizing cutting-edge e-ink technology, the collection featured an even more compelling array of new releases than in previous years.
