GREUBEL FORSEY
A Singular Pursuit of the Tourbillon
The World of Greubel Forsey Unfolds
A decade has passed since this brand first astonished the watchmaking world with its uniquely structured inclined double tourbillon in 2004. In recent years, they have diversified their offerings with multi-axis Quadruple Tourbillons and tourbillons with a 25° inclination and a 24-second rotation. For 2015, the focus is on high-speed tourbillons, expanding the range of materials for the movement and case, and introducing a model with a skeletonized design featuring the carriage at the 3 o'clock position. Greubel Forsey is exploring new possibilities for high-speed tourbillon models.

Black Through Advanced Surface Treatment
Greubel Forsey's original tourbillons display their carriages in three dimensions. In this model, the eye is immediately drawn to the carriage located just below the hour and minute display. This carriage not only rotates at an astonishing speed of one revolution every 24 seconds, but its axis is also inclined at 25°. By making the tourbillon rotate at high speed and in three dimensions, the influence of gravity is diffused, contributing to further improvements in precision.
Furthermore, this watch is equipped with a second time zone display, and a globe located to the left of the carriage allows for an at-a-glance view of the time in different time zones across the Northern Hemisphere. The case and movement are coated with Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC), a surface treatment that achieves hardness comparable to diamond. This provides exceptional scratch resistance and lends the watch a sharp, active appearance.

Luxurious 18K Rose Gold Specification
This watch also features a tourbillon that rotates the tourbillon carriage in three dimensions with a 24-second period. While it is an advanced timepiece equipped with a second time zone display and a titanium globe for an at-a-glance view of Northern Hemisphere time zones, its appearance is somewhat classical. This is due to the finely grained frosted finish on the movement plates and bridges, visible through the see-through dial and case back, and the coating of these surfaces with a high-quality 5N 18K pink gold PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process.
Historically, some pocket watches were plated with pink gold or copper to protect the surface and enhance their aesthetic appeal. This watch recreates that effect using modern technology, elevating its beauty.
Case: Platinum case, pink gold PVD movement
Diameter: 43.5mm
Thickness: 16.14mm
Movement: Manual winding (Cal. GF05)
Functions: Tourbillon (24-second period), power reserve display, second time zone display (small display next to hour/minute hands and globe at lower left), world time display (daylight saving time display - on case back)

Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision
Showcasing the Rotating Carriage with Boldness
Compared to a tourbillon carriage that typically rotates once per minute, Greubel Forsey's high-speed tourbillon offers a vastly superior sense of speed. Its three-dimensional appearance further enhances its spectacular nature.
In this 24-second tourbillon, the carriage is displayed at the 3 o'clock position. Both the front and back feature large openings, with a single plate-shaped bridge supporting the carriage. The opening on the case back, in particular, uses a domed crystal that further accentuates the movement of the carriage. Few watches offer such an entertaining display of mechanical action.
Case: 18K white gold
Diameter: 43.5mm
Thickness: 13.65mm (16.025mm at the 3 o'clock case back dome)
Movement: Manual winding (Cal. GF01r)
Functions: Tourbillon (24-second period), power reserve display (on case back)
Strap: Alligator
Water resistance: 3 bar
