Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu
The classic dual-time model, now even more elegant.
By Yasuto Shibuya
This latest iteration of Piaget's Altiplano dual-time model achieves dual-timezone display through the elegantly simple method of a two-layer case, housing an ultra-thin manual-winding movement within its slim profile. The upper case, which serves as the watch's primary face, contains the 828P manual-winding movement with a small seconds subdial. The lower case, displaying a more discreet time, features the simpler 832P manual-winding movement with a two-hand display. The upper case also boasts a transparent caseback, allowing a delightful view of the beautifully decorated movement, a true mechanical jewel.
Manual-winding, pink gold case, leather strap, 43mm diameter, ¥3,832,500, scheduled for May release.
