The Allure of Platinum Case & Bracelet

Celebrating its 50th anniversary since its birth in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona is a watch beloved by the late Paul Newman, a renowned actor and racing driver. This marks the first time in its history that a prestige model with a platinum case and bracelet has been introduced.

The ice blue dial is exclusively set in models crafted from rare and precious platinum. The chestnut brown, the color of the lacquered rings adorning the subdials and the bezel made of Rolex's proprietary, robust ceramic material, Cerachrom, is also a special shade chosen to complement this ice blue. The cool, elegant atmosphere born from this color combination is something new for the Daytona. It's a beautiful model that would tempt not only Rolex enthusiasts but anyone with an eye for exquisite timepieces.

Equipped withChronographThe movement is, of course, Rolex's in-house developed and manufactured "Caliber 4130." In addition to its COSC-certified high precision, internal innovations ensure long-term comfort and reliability, such as minimizing the number of parts to enhance dependability. Furthermore, the hairspring within the escapement, responsible for timekeeping, is made of Parachrom, Rolex's proprietary metallic material, known for its excellent resistance to magnetism, temperature variations, and shocks.
