A True Work of Art

The "Classique Musicale 7800" is an evolved alarm watch, characteristic of Breguet's complex timepieces, incorporating a new music box mechanism with a disc (sub-dial) and 15 comb teeth. A new model has now joined the lineup, featuring a new dial design and a rose gold case.

By incorporating the world's first magnetic governor as the speed regulator for the music box mechanism, this piece eliminates the operating noise from the regulator that was common in this type of watch. It beautifully and clearly plays Johann Sebastian Bach's famous piece, "Badinerie," to announce the set time.

A guilloché-finished Liquidmetal resonator membrane is set directly beneath the movement, amplifying the sound through resonance. This membrane also allows for 30-meter water resistance despite the presence of a hole in the case back, a truly innovative feature.
