Facet Work and Openwork Evolve Further

The "Classic Fusion Tourbillon 5 Days Power Reserve Orlinski," a collaboration between contemporary artist Richard Orlinski and Hublot, is characterized by its sculptural and free-spirited creations, featuring a case with broad facets designed to showcase the structural mechanics.

Hublot and Orlinski share a passion for color and materials, and a pursuit of transparency and the interplay of light, which they have brought to life through remarkable technical and aesthetic challenges. This new collaboration draws on Orlinski's signature style, often inspired by wildlife sculptures. It incorporates two techniques: the faceted finish seen in his Tyrannosaurus, Wild Kong, and Panther works, and the openwork found in his Tiger and Kong pieces. This fusion represents a convergence of two art forms: sculpture and watchmaking.

The case, with its sculptural contours, houses Hublot's newly redesigned tourbillon movement. Openwork is evident throughout, from the wide mechanical openings that highlight the gears and tourbillon cage, to the angled matte indexes on the dial, and the power reserve indicator on the ring. The case is available in three materials: sapphire crystal, King Gold, or black ceramic. Each piece is an art object for the wrist, showcasing an advanced evolution of sculptural faceting and contemporary openwork structure.
