Futuristic Streamlined Form Controls the Play of Light
The "Galop d'Hermès" was designed by Inès de la Fressange, who carefully observed equestrian equipment such as bits and stirrups from the Hermès Conservatoire, drawing inspiration from their details.

Its features include a dynamic, vertically asymmetrical case and indices. The Arabic numerals of the indices gradually widen from the front and then become smaller and thinner, creating a sense of depth on the face. Furthermore, the flowing, streamlined form that responds to light is also ergonomically designed to be gentle on the eyes, with rounded edges.
Inès de la Fressange commented, "This time, I focused on light as a material. I worked hard to create a form that could capture light, and I was able to design a streamlined form that controls the effects of light and futuristic lines."
The "Galop d'Hermès" is a watch imbued with elegance, passed down from the past to the future, designed with Hermès's characteristic free spirit into a new, futuristic, streamlined form, based on the ingenuity, technique, and beauty of balance inherent in equestrian objects.
