Expressing "Time" Through Objects

Hermès's approach to watchmaking is distinct. A watch is not merely a tool, but an object that becomes a true companion for its wearer. Born from uncompromising craftsmanship and a unique design philosophy, Hermès watches do not simply measure or control time; they challenge the very concept of "time" itself.
With an air of effortless freedom, Hermès watches make each moment in daily life feel special and cherished. They embody the Maison's heritage of craftsmanship and its spirit of constant innovation.
Introduced in 2019, the "Arceau L'Heure de la Lune" is a model with particularly complex mechanisms within Hermès's watchmaking. Three new limited editions, each of 12 pieces, have now been released. These models feature Hermès's proprietary module, displaying the phases of the moon for both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres simultaneously. The dial's mobile counters complete a cycle in 59 days, as the lunar disc slowly reveals itself.
Each model's moon disc features a Pegasus motif inspired by Dimitri Rybaltchenko's "Full Moon" design, unfolding Hermès's signature fantastical world. The case and lugs showcase a distinctive two-tone design with contrasting materials: white gold and blue titanium, pink gold and titanium, and white gold and pink gold. Each is adorned with a different meteorite.
Furthermore, the straps are crafted from Hermès's signature alligator matte leather, each finished in a different hue.
And the "Arceau Le Temps Voyageur," introduced in 2022, is a unique watch displaying time zones for 24 cities worldwide via a rotating disc. Two new models have been added to this collection: one in white gold and one in pink gold.
On the dial, the home time is indicated at 12 o'clock, while the local time is displayed on the mobile counter, offering essential functionality for travelers and business professionals.
Beyond its functionality, the artistry is particularly noteworthy. Based on Jérôme Colliard's "World Map of Horse Riding" design, the motifs representing continents gain new depth, captivating the viewer with a three-dimensional sense of global travel. The dial features a grey-blue lacquer finish, accented by marine blue city indicators and blue openworked hands. The pink gold model boasts a mother-of-pearl dial shimmering with diamonds, delicately framed in pink gold.
Hermès's new proposal transcends time and space. These models prompt a reconsideration of what is truly important today, offering wearers a new perception of time.
