An "Aging Model" to Enjoy the Patina of Bronze
The "Pilot Type 20 Extra Special" by Zenith was born from inspiration drawn from the brand's own heritage pilot watches.
This popular collection features a design incorporating traditional elements such as a large onion crown, Arabic numeral indices with luminous paint, and distinctive cobra hands, all powered by Zenith's in-house automatic Elite 679 caliber.
The 2018 new model retains these design cues while adopting a bronze case to enhance its vintage feel. Bronze has recently gained popularity as a material capable of neo-retro expression. Combined with matte black or blue dials, it creates a stylish aesthetic.
Bronze is also known for its aging properties, and we encourage you to enjoy the evolving character of the material.
The case back is engraved with an image of the aircraft Louis Blériot flew across the English Channel in 1909, wearing a Zenith watch, along with Zenith's aviation instrument logo.
