A Pioneer of the Mechanical Watch Trend, Revealing the Balance Wheel

This model allows you to see the movement of the balance wheel, the "heart" of the movement, through a small window on the dial. "Heart Beat" is a design pioneered by Frederique Constant worldwide in 1994 and has since become the brand's icon.

Carrée is French for square. The "Classic Carrée Automatic Heart Beat" refers to the series with a square case among the models equipped with the Heart Beat mechanism.

The "Heart Beat" is popular in Japan, and the "Classic Carrée" series is particularly favored. Last year, a collection within this series featuring a smaller case, with a vertical length reduced from the previous 38.7mm to 33.3mm, garnered even more attention.

Responding to requests from Japanese fans, five limited-edition models with special colors and specifications have now been released. Previously, the black and navy dials were only available with rose gold-colored cases, but these are now housed in stainless steel cases. Each can be chosen with either a bracelet or a strap.

Additionally, a bracelet model has been newly introduced for the white dial. The compact size of 33.3mm vertically and 30.4mm horizontally makes it suitable for unisex wear.
