A new version of the 18K white gold "Calatrava Pilot Travel Time," born in 2015, has arrived, combining 18K rose gold with a brown soleil black-gradient dial. To complement this, a women's "Calatrava Pilot Travel Time" has been created with a case diameter reduced by 4.5mm from the existing size, making it possible to wear this model as a pair.

Identical Functions

Pair watches often lean towards conservative designs. Amidst this, the "Calatrava Pilot Travel Time" truly stands out. While striking on its own, together as a pair, they possess an invincible impact.

Operating this Travel Time is remarkably simple. Pressing the push-piece at 10 o'clock moves the hour hand back one hour. Pressing the push-piece at 8 o'clock advances the hour hand one hour. For instance, when traveling abroad, you can simply press them to adjust for the time difference. And if you make a mistake, you can simply reverse the action. It's that intuitive. Notably, the skeleton hand indicating home time remains stationary during these adjustments.

To prevent accidental operation, these push-pieces are normally locked. To unlock them, turn the push-piece a quarter turn counter-clockwise. To lock them again, turn it a quarter turn clockwise. It's a simple yet effective mechanism.

The round apertures at 3 and 9 o'clock are day/night indicators, showing AM/PM for both home and local times. If you don't need to display different time zones, you can align the hands for a cleaner look.

These Travel Time functions are exactly the same for the women's model. In fact, the movement housed in the women's watch is identical to that of the men's. The movement's diameter is 31mm, which is just barely accommodated within the 37.5mm case to achieve its size.
