A design that blends sporty elegance with a cosmopolitan flair

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Geographic WT has been added to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris collection, which was unveiled at the 2018 SIHH (Geneva Watch and Jewelry Fair).

Inspired by the iconic 1968 Memovox Polaris, this new model inherits the boldness and adventurous spirit of the original while presenting a refined, sporty-elegant design. Unlike the existing Chronograph WT, it features a power reserve indicator and other functions.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Geographic WT features the names of 24 cities around the world laid out on the flange. This disc can be rotated using the crown at the 10 o'clock position. For cities that observe daylight saving time, a white asterisk indicator shows the one-hour difference.

A signature feature of this collection is the dial's striking two-tone color combination, a hallmark of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris, where blue gradually transitions to black towards the outer edge. Attention is also drawn to the contrasting finishes: the subdials for the date at 2 o'clock, the second time zone at 6 o'clock, and the power reserve at 10 o'clock are sunray-brushed, while the rest of the dial features a grain finish.

A day/night disc, color-coded in white and black, allows the wearer to distinguish between day and night for both the local city and the selected second time zone, catering to an active, globetrotting lifestyle. As a subtle yet captivating detail, the disc shows daytime with black numerals and a small sun on a white background, and nighttime with white numerals and a small crescent moon on a black background.
