A Grand Feu Enamel Dial Enhancing Breguet's Classical Charm

The new Grand Complication model, the "Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique 5367," enhances classical allure with a design that elegantly showcases the tourbillon.

The dial employs Grand Feu enamel, long anticipated for the Grand Complication line. The design deliberately minimizes indications, omitting the power reserve display, to beautifully highlight the tourbillon.

A distinctive feature is the tourbillon's placement at the 5 o'clock position, rather than the conventional 6 o'clock. The chapter ring with Breguet numerals is offset towards 11 o'clock, creating a dynamic symmetry. This dial layout echoes the spirit of founder Abraham-Louis Breguet, who challenged the established norms of watchmaking with his innovative designs.

To further accentuate the tourbillon, the bridge is meticulously hand-chamfered and set with spinels. Meanwhile, the blue steel Breguet hands provide a striking contrast against the white dial, enhancing legibility.

While the exterior of the "Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique 5367" is remarkably simple, the movement visible through the sapphire caseback is adorned with lavish decoration. The bridges, barrel, and automatic winding rotor feature hand-engraved motifs. The rotor, crafted from platinum to increase inertia, is a peripheral type that rotates around the movement's outer edge, allowing for a full appreciation of its intricate workings.

The watch achieves an ultra-thin profile, with an overall thickness of just 7.45mm and a movement thickness of only 3mm. The patented "high-energy barrel" ensures an 80-hour power reserve. This new "Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique 5367" will be released this summer in an 18K rose gold version, as well as a platinum model.
