A Pocket Watch's Past, Now on Your Wrist

Inspired by the pocket watches of the legendary Minerva manufacture, Montblanc has renewed its classic Star collection. The brand has unveiled the new "Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Chronograph," a model distinguished by its slim, timeless design.

This model embodies the beautiful design cultivated by the history of classical haute horlogerie, and the legacy of Minerva. Minerva, founded in 1858, was a traditional watchmaker renowned for its gold pocket watches. Following the style of Minerva's pocket watches, the new Star Legacy collection is built with a classical case featuring rounded sides.

The onion-shaped crown is engraved with the Montblanc emblem, highlighting the watch's unique character. On the silver-white dial, blue leaf-shaped hands, a richly textured guilloché pattern, and a railway minute track stand out with vivid color contrast. The Arabic numeral indices have been subtly updated, lending a slimmer, more refined impression.

The watch is powered by the MB 25.02 automatic caliber. In addition to hours, minutes, and seconds, it features a chronograph with a central seconds hand and a minute counter. The strap is made of Sfumato leather, a material with a unique depth of shade produced in Montblanc's own leather goods workshop, "Pelleteria," in Florence, adding to its elegant aesthetic.
