A Sensual Bracelet Design Creates Sharp Radiance

The legendary "Panthère de Cartier" watch, which once took the world by storm, has returned. Even after more than 30 years, the design has lost none of its freshness, a testament to its authenticity. Each link of the bracelet is refined with a smooth roundness, evoking the elegant, sinuous leap of a panther capturing its prey – an unparalleled sophistication.

A Radiance That Needs No Jewels, An Overwhelming Presence

This is the strength women seek today: a noble spirit that expresses an independent beauty, unyielding to others. Less is more. This statement of purity is evident in the non-jeweled models.

The bracelet, formed by rectangular links, is rounded to emphasize suppleness and beautifully reflects light. Its five-link construction fits the wrist like a custom-made accessory.

The square case is both architectural and organic. Bold Roman numeral indices, blue hands. It is the quintessential "face" of Cartier watch design, yet possesses a distinct smartness unlike the "Tank" or "Pasha".

"JEWELLERY FIRST, TIMEPIECE SECOND."

This is the catchphrase announced by Cartier. A literal translation would be, "Its significance as jewelry comes first, and its significance as a watch comes second," but this likely fails to convey the original intent. "A watch, yet beautiful as jewelry." This is the message Cartier wishes to convey.

Since its debut in 1983, the "Panthère de Cartier" has enjoyed unwavering popularity. However, due to design similarities with the extensively revamped Santos series, particularly the "Santos 100," it was discontinued. Despite its discontinuation, the model's popularity never waned, and in 2017, the voices calling for its return were finally heard as it made its comeback.

This year, 17 models have been introduced. Among them are versions adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds. While the non-jeweled versions are already beautiful, adding jewels further enhances their appeal exponentially.

Sporty, luxurious, and elegant – this is the essence of the Panthère.
