PIAGET
The World's Thinnest Automatic Skeleton Movement!
Piaget has consistently pursued 'thinner, more elegant mechanical watches,' breaking records for the thinness of mechanical movements. In 2012, they achieved two 'world's thinnest' titles with an automatic skeleton movement and its accompanying model. New creations also debuted, featuring elegant case and dial designs that fuse circles and ellipses.

Captivating WomenHigh JewelryWhile captivating the world with its watches and jewelry collections, Piaget, founded in 1874, possesses two formidable identities: one of Switzerland's leading movement manufacturers and a true haute horlogerie manufacture. The movements they have produced range astonishingly widely, from complex quartz to mechanical flyingTourbillonsAnd among these, Piaget's long-standing specialty has been ultra-thin mechanical movements for elegant, ultra-thin dress watches.
For watch enthusiasts, this 'unique watchmaking through ultra-thin mechanical movements' is the greatest allure of the Piaget brand today.
Following the 'world's thinnest automatic movement,' Caliber 1200P, in 2010, and the 'world's thinnest hand-wound tourbillon movement,' Caliber 1270P, in 2011, 2012 saw the unveiling of the 'world's thinnest automatic skeleton movement,' Caliber 1200S, and its accompanying model, the 'Piaget Altiplano Ultra-Thin Skeleton.'
In addition to the movement's 2.4mm thinness and the product's 5.34mm profile, the intricate and beautiful decorative finishing on the mainplate is truly breathtaking.
Furthermore, the new series of the Black Tie collection, the 'Piaget Gouverneur,' is an elegant dress watch that Piaget is known for, and it comes highly recommended for watch aficionados and design-conscious individuals alike. Its design, fusing circles and ellipses like a piece of contemporary art, possesses a captivating, almost mysterious charm.
Piaget Altiplano Ultra-Thin Skeleton
An Innovative Skeleton Watch Achieving Two World Records
As the 'Master of Ultra Thin Movements,' Piaget, which currently offers 15 ultra-thin movements and 5 skeleton movements, has reached a new pinnacle. This is the 'world's thinnest skeleton watch,' born from the skeletonization of the 'world's thinnest automatic movement,' Caliber 1200P, unveiled in 2010. Achieving two world records with a movement thickness of just 2.4mm and a case thickness of 5.34mm, this timepiece is the result of three years of development. Rather than simply skeletonizing through artisanal skill, as is common, the design was re-evaluated from the ground up based on meticulous strength calculations. This approach ensures reliability and durability comparable to a standard movement. By adding the ultimate artisanal skill in watchmaking – skeletonization – to ultra-thin movements, which require sophisticated techniques and know-how akin to complex mechanisms for their development, design, and manufacturing, this 'wearable work of art' has been completed.

The father designed the case, and the son designed the dial.
