Including Collaboration Models with the Esteemed All Blacks
A Rich Collection, Led by Sports Watches
Having established a manufacture capable of developing and producing nearly all parts, from the movement to the case, in-house, this marks the third year since the announcement of models equipped with fully in-house developed movements.BulgariJust before Baselworld, it was announced that Bulgari would become part of the LVMH group through a stock exchange, creating significant buzz in the fashion world. However, according to CEO Francesco Trapani's explanation on the press day of the fair, there will be no changes whatsoever to the watchmaking operations going forward. The 2011 collection of new models is exceptionally comprehensive, ranging from the minute repeater models of Daniel Roth, a line for watch enthusiasts focused on complicated timepieces, to more accessible ladies' models.

A Special Collaboration Model with the Esteemed All Blacks Appears
The most significant highlight of the year is the model unveiled at CEO Trapani's press conference: a collaboration with the All Blacks, one of the world's top national rugby teams.ChronographThe "Bulgari Daniel Roth Chronosprint All Blacks Special Edition." Based on Daniel Roth's unique chronograph, where the chronograph counter at 6 o'clock can also be used to display a second time zone, this model features an all-black finish on the case, bracelet, and dial, achieved through DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This masculine and sharp aesthetic is a novel departure from Bulgari's previous lineups. While this is currently a one-off collaboration, the product's color, unique case shape, and mechanism offer exciting prospects for the future.
Classic Chronograph Renewed and Made Even More Appealing
Another highlight for men this year is the renewal of the "Diagono Calibro 303," a classic chronograph in the lineage of Bulgari's first watch collection, "Bulgari Bulgari," which features the brand name engraved on the bezel. Unlike similar models from dedicated watch manufacturers, this timepiece possesses a distinct presence, luxurious feel, and dressy ambiance, characteristic of a product from a prestigious fashion house – a truly valuable attribute. The dial, in particular, has gained even more depth and sophistication, enhancing its stylish appeal. This watch is highly recommended for those who view timepieces as fashion accessories and seek something special.

The Spirit of Rugby's Strongest Team on Your Wrist
This collaboration model with the All Blacks, New Zealand's national rugby team, is based on Daniel Roth's unique chronograph, the "Chronosprint." The chronograph counter at 6 o'clock consists of hour and minute hands, allowing for easy reading of elapsed time, similar to a standard watch dial. Pressing the push-button at 7 o'clock resets the hour and minute hands to 12 o'clock and restarts the chronograph (flyback function), enabling it to be used for displaying a second time zone by accounting for time differences. Furthermore, the DLC black coating enhances the durability of the case and bracelet. The dial's pattern, featuring a big date display, is inspired by the face paint of the New Zealand Māori, who are integral to the All Blacks team. A special rugby ball-shaped box with the All Blacks emblem is also included.
Black DLC-coated stainless steel case & bracelet, 56.1mm case diameter, 100m water resistance, automatic winding, see-through case back, ¥1,596,000 (estimated retail price), scheduled for release within the year.
