Introducing "Rose des Vents," Jewelry to Wear Like a Talisman
Dior Fine Jewelry unveils its new collection, "Rose des Vents," designed to be worn like a talisman. Featuring a reversible design that showcases both the Rose des Vents motif and a stone, the collection will be available from June 10th (Wednesday).

Designs Infused with Monsieur Dior's Story
The new jewelry collection draws inspiration from the "Rose des Vents" wind rose motif found at Granville, the villa where Christian Dior spent his childhood. "Rose des Vents" means wind rose in French. The Granville villa was known by the name "L'Hyumb," the same name given to the 32 points of the compass, and the "Rose des Vents" motif, depicted in mosaic, still remains in the pond behind the house.
In the "Rose des Vents" collection, Dior's heritage is expressed on medallions, featuring the rose that Monsieur Dior loved and the star motif that inspired him to start his Maison. The wind rose motif is surrounded by graining reminiscent of a ship's rope, creating a design that seems to guide one in the right direction.
The collection includes bracelets, necklaces, and long necklaces. The reversible pieces come with four types of stones: mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and pink opal. A delicate mechanism allows the medallion to flip with the wearer's movement, offering a variety of expressions.
Victoire de Castellane, the creator of Dior Fine Jewelry, who designed the collection, said, "These medallions feature not only the star, which was Christian Dior's talisman, but also the rose he loved, layered together. All of the Maison's history is hinted at."
