Elegant Designs Evoking Tulle Gowns

The "Dior Timepieces Unique Pieces" collection merges the savoir-faire and exceptional techniques of an haute couture maison. The "Dior Grand Soir 'Origami'" is a unique piece inspired by the traditional Japanese art of origami.

The mother-of-pearl dial is rendered in a three-dimensional structure using advanced marquetry techniques, while the bezel is set with finest stones in various cuts, including triangles, baguettes, and helixes. The rotor on the case back features geometric motifs rendered in vibrant lemon yellow and pink lacquer, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.

The "Dior Grand Soir" features a design inspired by the paniers of evening gowns. The sapphire color gradation and the beautifully curved baguette-cut settings employ an advanced technique that secures two stones with a single prong. The dial design, which expresses the swaying hem of a dress through engraving and geometric motifs, is also noteworthy.

The "Dior VIII Grand Bal" is a series where the rotor, positioned on the front of the dial, is adorned with stories related to the maison. The new pieces, themed around a winter garden, feature delicate openwork patterns using gold, opals, and sapphires, creating a three-dimensional layering of floral and leaf motifs.

The "La D de Dior," with its dial sprinkled with pink diamonds, is a piece designed by Victoire de Castellane, who also oversees Dior Fine Jewelry. This luxurious masterpiece boasts a snow setting not only on the white diamond bezel but also on the case sides, crown, and buckle.

This series also includes three Japan-exclusive opal dials, each with a unique expression, and an animal motif lacquer dial for the "Mitzah" line, available first at Ikebukuro Seibu.
