Jewelry Posing Questions to the Designer and the Wearer

The touring exhibition of new works by jewelry label "ATAKA" arrives in Tokyo, following stops in Nagoya and Osaka. This exhibition will showcase three new collections: "YELLOW," "SLICE," and "ROD BOLD." Over 100 pieces of jewelry created to date will also be displayed together.

ATAKA, a jewelry label that develops fine jewelry incorporating diverse cultures, presents its latest collection featuring three distinct lines.
Inspired by Scandinavian interiors, the "YELLOW" collection is built around the concept of "material versatility." Combining 18k yellow gold with brass, the pieces develop a unique patina over time as the brass oxidizes, adding character with use.
The "SLICE" collection explores the concept: "What is the purpose of this shape?" After analyzing the anatomy of fingers in 3D, the shapes were designed to question the relationship between the ring and the finger's form.
The "ROD BOLD" collection is an evolution of the existing stainless steel brooch "ROD." By increasing the diameter, it can be used not only as a brooch but also as earrings, ear cuffs, and necklaces. The material used is 18k yellow gold.
The Tokyo exhibition will be held at "LICHT," a gallery specializing in playful furniture. The minimalist, beautiful forms born from meticulous consideration will undoubtedly enhance the wearer.
