A Collection of Timeless Charm
The 'My Dior' collection, which masterfully expresses the esprit of the couture maison, passed down through generations, through the symbol of the 'Cannage' motif, rapidly became an iconic symbol of the maison. The 'Cannage' motif is a design inspired by the rattan caning of chairs used by Monsieur Dior at his first haute couture show in 1947. Artistic Director Victoire de Castellane, who designed the collection, drew inspiration from the Cannage chairs in Dior boutiques she visited as a child with her mother, and the memories of the women she encountered there.
The rings and bracelets feature engraving work, achievable only by highly skilled artisans, creating a texture reminiscent of woven straw, with a delicate and elegant design perfect for the sophisticated woman. The collection includes rings and bracelets in yellow gold, pink gold, and white gold, with versions set with diamonds also available.
And now, new items have joined this collection. As the collection expands with new rings and earrings, Dior has produced a campaign film for 'My Dior.' The film was shot by Alasdair McLellan, known for his work on covers for major magazines, and features a song by the British rock band Cocteau Twins.
