Pure Pearls and Wild Skull Motifs in a Captivating Duet

Held from Wednesday, March 27th to Tuesday, April 2nd, on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building's The Stage, "Numéro Tokyo Presents ART CONVENIENCE STORE by mastermind JAPAN" is an "art convenience store" where Numéro Tokyo and mastermind JAPAN, the luxury street brand from Japan that announced it will cease operations this year, have teamed up to curate and sell a variety of products. TASAKI has joined this initiative, which features a dazzling array of special items including collaborations with domestic and international brands, as well as miscellaneous goods, to produce exclusive limited-edition jewelry in collaboration with mastermind JAPAN.

Based on designs by Masahiro Honma, necklaces, rings, and earrings have been crafted using pearls carefully cultivated at the company's own pearl farms. The elegant long pearl necklace features gold skull motifs interspersed along the strand, adding an edgy accent. The ring, adorned with hemispherical pearls and gold skull motifs on silver, also features gold skull motifs on the opposite side, creating a striking design with a different expression depending on the viewing angle. These are available for both men and women. Additionally, earrings are offered, combining a single 8mm pearl with a gold skull motif. Through TASAKI's renowned craftsmanship, the two contrasting images—mastermind JAPAN's iconic wild skull motif and elegant pearls—are skillfully blended, resulting in sophisticated jewelry befitting both discerning women and men.

This collaboration, unique to TASAKI, continues to produce modern jewelry that challenges conventional notions of pearls. As mastermind JAPAN has announced its brand activities will conclude with the Spring/Summer 2013 season, marking its 15th anniversary, these items are poised to become premium collectibles.
