A Ribbon That Seems to Unravel, a Symbol of Audacity
CHAUMET, the Parisian jeweler founded in 1780, has unveiled its new "Insolence" collection. Sales begin March 4th. Ribbon motifs, crafted from diamonds and pink gold, add a playful touch to any ensemble with a sensual, hedonistic mood.

Sensual Visuals Captured by Karen Collins
The inspiration draws from the ribbons favored by Queen Marie-Antoinette and the garlands adorning jewels of the Belle Époque. In contrast to the eternal themes of "unbreakable bonds" and "true love" typically expressed in Chaumet's collections, "Insolence" features ribbons that appear on the verge of unraveling, evoking a capricious and audacious feminine spirit.
The collection includes a rich lineup of necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, and brooches. While possessing a classic aesthetic at first glance, their asymmetrical and loose forms exude a casual, almost dangerous allure.
For the collection's launch, New York-based photographer Karen Collins created a series of images. Avant-garde visuals, featuring jewelry adorning a nude model, beautifully express the collection's sensuality.
