Piaget is a top maison recognized for its unparalleled specialty in both jewelry and watches. It has established a firm position in the world of luxury business through its opulent use of diamonds and captivating stories in jewelry, and its ultra-thin movements and artistic jewelry watches that fuse these two specialties. At this year's 2015 WATCHES & WONDERS, collection pieces embodying this specialty were unveiled.

A Dial Depicting a Caravan in a Deserted Moonscape
Samarkand, a city in Uzbekistan in Central Asia, meaning "land of gold" in Persian. Venice, Italy, once called "the most noble republic." The exceptional artisans at Piaget Manufacture drew inspiration from the history, landscape, and culture of these two legendary cities, which once boasted great prosperity, to create 93 artistic jewelry pieces and 38 watches under the title "Piaget Mythical Journey."
This wristwatch, adorned with a three-dimensional engraving depicting a caravan traveling under the moonlit desert, is one of 38 such creations. It consists of two cases: an upper case (lid) with a see-through design that houses the engraving between two sapphire crystal panes, and a lower case containing the movement. When the upper case is opened, the intricate craftsmanship on the back of the engraving can be admired while the time is clearly visible.
The movement is Piaget's in-house ultra-thin caliber 830P. An exotic and fantastical "work of art in time."

Beautiful Enamelwork Connecting Two Cities
The theme of this collection is the "Golden Road" connecting Central Asia and Mediterranean Europe, overlapping with the Silk Road, linking the two cities of Samarkand and Venice. This model beautifully depicts the continents from Europe to the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (Japan) along this grand route of the "Piaget Mythical Journey," using hand-engraved gold dials and the champlevé and miniature enamel decorative techniques.

The "Mythical Journey" Logo Adorns a Beautiful Cuff Watch
The elegant logo, combining circles and diamonds, was created by Piaget's jewelry designers for the "Piaget Mythical Journey" collection. Piaget's master jewelers then used the maison's goldsmithing techniques to craft this delicate cuff watch, lavishly adorned with diamonds.
A masterpiece befitting Piaget's expertise in both jewelry and watches, it represents the diversity of this collection.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a quartz movement, also manufactured in-house. This piece showcases Piaget's multifaceted identity as a watch manufacturer, not limited to mechanical movements.

A New Moon Phase Model for Women
A collection of women's watches featuring a large display at 12 o'clock to show the moon phase has been born. This model, unveiled at WATCHES & WONDERS, adopts a design combining ovals and circles.
The moon, shining in the night sky, is a prominent and central celestial body. Perhaps to commemorate the launch of this model, Piaget transformed its entire booth at WATCHES & WONDERS into a celestial expanse with beautiful light decorations.
The mechanical highlight is the realistic depiction of the moon and the high precision of the moon phase display. With an accuracy of only one day's error every 122 years, this moon phase display is likely the most precise for a mechanical model exclusively for women worldwide.
