TASAKI Ginza Main Store Celebrates One Year Since Renewal Opening

After half a century since its founding in 1954, TASAKI has been reborn anew. As a symbol of this transformation, the Ginza Main Store, which underwent a major renewal and grand opening in 2010, will celebrate its first anniversary on April 23rd. A limited, one-month advance release of jewelry created to commemorate this occasion has been decided.

Introducing a Pave Ring in SAKURA Gold, a New Original Material Debuting This Spring

One year has passed since TASAKI, a leading Japanese jewelry brand, embarked on its new journey from Japan to the world. To commemorate this milestone, the "Face of TASAKI" series features jewelry inspired by the store's facade, designed by architect Kumiko Inui, which is composed of hundreds of panels forming a symbolic architectural element of the Ginza Main Store. Much like the unique facade, the design achieves a delicate balance, altering the brilliance of each component.

The design of the Ginza Main Store's facade possesses a flexibility that harmonizes with its surroundings, while simultaneously projecting a distinct presence. This is reminiscent of Japanese aesthetics, conveying a subtle yet powerful interplay of strength and restraint.

The "Face of TASAKI" series, inspired by this facade, features rings and pendants crafted with baguette-cut diamonds for a modern and stylish aesthetic. The necklaces and bracelets are designed for everyday wear, making them versatile additions to any jewelry collection.

Furthermore, TASAKI's original material, "SAKURA Gold," was unveiled this spring. This new, proprietary material is inspired by the subtle pink hue of cherry blossoms, evoking a delicate blush of color against a pure white base, symbolizing TASAKI's signature Japanese color palette. From the "ulala" series, which utilizes this material, a pave ring (¥588,000) will be offered to commemorate the Ginza store's first anniversary.

The design, reminiscent of ruffled ribbons, evokes the image of blooming flower petals. The ruffles are pavé-set with diamonds, creating a design that is both feminine and luxurious, expressing a natural and uninhibited spirit.

The anniversary items will be available for advance purchase at the Ginza Main Store starting Friday, April 22, 2011. They will then be released at other stores starting Saturday, May 21.
