Breguet Becomes a Daily Companion

The Queen of Naples was created as an homage to a wristwatch ordered by Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples, from Breguet approximately 200 years ago. Since its release, the Queen of Naples has garnered immense popularity worldwide, showcasing Breguet's distinctive character in every detail. With its gently curved egg-shaped case, the crown positioned at 4 o'clock, and the ball lugs for the specially designed strap, it possesses a unique and striking presence, making it a distinctly feminine wristwatch.

A slightly larger stainless steel model has now joined the Queen of Naples collection. Previously available only in diamond-set gold versions, the addition of this new model makes the collection suitable for any occasion, transforming it into a piece for daily wear. Despite its daily-use orientation, the model maintains Breguet's signature high quality. The feminine, curved case with fluting on the sides, the off-center crown, and the ball lugs at 6 o'clock securing the alligator strap all reflect Breguet's iconic techniques in their intricate details.

The dial is crafted from white natural mother-of-pearl, featuring raised Arabic numerals for '12' and '6', along with the serial number. The sapphire case back offers a view of the automatic movement, a testament to Breguet's renowned precision craftsmanship. Notably, traditional high-watchmaking techniques are preserved, including the hand-engraved guilloché pattern on the gold rotor, meticulously executed on a manual lathe.

The newly incorporated silicon escapement embodies the words of former CEO Nicolas G. Hayek: 'Breguet is the perfect fusion of beauty and cutting-edge technology.' Furthermore, the use of silicon in the hairspring eliminates magnetic interference, further enhancing the watch's accuracy.
