Royal Oak Offshore

The "Royal Oak," a luxury sports watch featuring a full stainless steel body and an octagonal bezel inspired by a ship's porthole, was born in 1972. It was an innovative model that challenged the conventions of high-end watches at the time.
Then, about 20 years after its debut, the "Royal Oak Offshore" was created as an even more extreme sports version of the Royal Oak. It boasts a commanding 42mm case profile and a stylish layout of vertically aligned sub-dials. Furthermore, dynamic design elements that undeniably enhance its sporty feel are incorporated throughout, such as the tachymeter scale engraved on the flange of the dial and the use of rubber material on the crown and button areas to improve water resistance.
Indeed, numerous limited edition models based on this watch have been produced, commemorating the "Alinghi," a yacht supported by Audemars Piguet for a formidable team in the world's premier yacht race, the America's Cup. Its powerful design is regarded as a vanguard of the burgeoning luxury sports watch trend in recent years. Among these, the combination of a black dial and a pink gold case, as pictured, is one of the most popular designs. The octagonal rubber bezel further enhances its exceptionally noble styling, continuing to capture the interest of fashion enthusiasts beyond the realm of watch collectors.
In recent years, the collection has progressively transitioned to incorporate chronograph movements based on AP's flagship caliber, the "3120." In 2009, a bi-color model with a white and black dial, powered by the "Cal.3126/3840," was introduced. Its combination with a precise and robust metal bracelet creates an overwhelming impact.
