Credor Node: Shaped by the Subtle Light of the Moon
Text by OPENERS
The Long-Awaited Big Date Model from Japan's Premier Dress Watch
The Japanese sensibility, which cherishes the tranquil and delicate light of the moon over the intense glare of the sun, and the dry landscape garden over a profusely decorated one, finds its form in the Credor Node dress watch. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the birth of SEIKO's proprietary Spring Drive movement, a model equipped with the first Big Date complication and a hand-wound Spring Drive movement was released.
In addition to the rose gold case model pictured, with a dial of mother-of-pearl and a crocodile strap dyed in Kokishiro (a deep crimson, a traditional Japanese color) to evoke a sunset sky, there are three variations: a stainless steel case and bracelet model with a silver dial, and a stainless steel case and crocodile strap model with a silver-blue dial. Through the exhibition case back, one can also admire the movement, assembled by skilled watchmakers, adjusted to the micron, and beautifully decorated.
