DOPPIO TRE

Text by OPENERS

A triple time zone watch, made possible by the addition of a proprietary module that allows for the simultaneous display of three time zones within a single mechanical movement.

Two sub-dials on the dial surface indicate different time zones, and by flipping the case with its reversible structure, a third sub-dial is also present on the back.

Furthermore, the double-faced structure, which sandwiches the automatic winding rotor, is highly unique in that the axis of the hands passes through the rotor. The three time zones can be operated independently by three separate crowns, making it exceptionally practical.

Self-winding. See-through case back. Approximately 36-hour power reserve. 28,800 vibrations per hour. Case dimensions: 60.0mm (length) x 36.0mm (width). 18K rose gold case. Crocodile strap. 3 ATM water resistance.

BRAND HISTORY
In 1993, founder Fawaz Gruosi opened a boutique in Geneva named de GRISOGONO, after his own aristocratic family name. He pioneered the use of black diamonds in jewelry, creating original pieces that caused a sensation.

Within a few years of its opening, de GRISOGONO rapidly gained momentum, expanding internationally. In 2000, the brand ventured into the world of watchmaking, adopting materials not yet widely known in the watch industry, such as shagreen for galuchat straps, and creating numerous trendsetting pieces.

de GRISOGONO has also been highly innovative in terms of mechanics. The "Occhio," launched in 2005, is an extraordinary complication watch that not only features a minute repeater but also incorporates a shutter on the dial that opens and closes like a camera. The unveiling of this model brought de GRISOGONO widespread recognition within the watchmaking community.

Since then, de GRISOGONO has continued to expand its collections and its global reach. In 2007, it opened a flagship store in Japan, solidifying its position as one of the most noteworthy brands in the country, consistently at the center of attention.
