The Epitome of Masculinity
The "Tank MC," a new interpretation of the maison's iconic "Tank Watch," asserts ultimate masculinity, blending dandyism with elegance. The "MC" in its name signifies the "Manufacture Cartier," a fully in-house movement.
Its substantial 44 x 34.3mm face makes a statement, while the dial, featuring Roman numerals and a generously sized small seconds subdial, expresses both strength and elegance. Though nearly square, the case sides curve along the wrist, ensuring exceptional comfort. It is powered by Cartier's in-house automatic mechanical movement, the Caliber 1904 MC. The beautifully finished movement can be admired through the large open case back.
Keisuke Honda returned to Japan for the first time after joining AC Milan on March 4th (Tuesday). The "Tank MC" was clearly visible on his wrist in photos taken at Narita Airport. Honda's relentless pursuit of his dreams, and his playing style that embodies both elegance and strength, resonate with Cartier's philosophy.
